Lighting & Sound
My show is basically run from a computer, however I am a little old fashioned and I do have Minidisc back up, just in case !!!
Anyway joking apart, I use a HP Compaq Laptop with a Lighting and Sound control program.
On stage (subject to room availability) I can create with the aid of the computerized program a truly professional Theater/Concert Hall effect.
My laptop sends audio signals to a high quality external sound card which in turn is connected to my sound equipment to create the highest standard of sound.
My laptop also sends DMX signals from my lighting program to a DMX controller which in turn controls the stage lighting. I actually can make a lighting event happen to a specific drum beat for instance.
All in all this equipment creates a magnificent concert hall show, and makes the difference between the usual show and a show presented by The Elvis Presley Tribute Show.
All my backing tracks are selected from the highest standard of music, some are a true recreation of the actual music Elvis used in the movies "That's The Way It Is" and "The Aloha From Hawaii" concert shows.
The total show creates a reproduction of an Elvis Presley Las Vegas concert show with usually three costume changes during the 3 show night, giving everyone present a memorable evening to treasure for many months.
It has to be noted that my show involves flashing lights and strobe lighting effects, similar to what Elvis used during his Vegas years, however these can be deleted from the show subject to any Audience Concerns.
